Priorities of Our Project

Inclusion and Diversity and High Quality Learning Opportunities

PWDs, who in addition to disability may also face other limitations, will acquire new competencies necessary for the 21st century in the areas of individual life, the labour market and active citizenship. This is desirable from the reason of changes in required skills in the world of work, demographic, environmental, climate changes and globalization. New, modern educational methods will be provided for PWDs in the form of blended-learning, which will be freely available to everyone, whereby will be creating space for better access to informal education and better opportunities in its utilising for this group of disadvantaged people. By making the education flexible in the form of blended-learning, it will enable them to participate in the process of LLL according to individual abilities and possibilities. Professionals working with PWDs will acquire new competencies for the 21st century through the REFORM Manual, which will enable the provision of services at a higher level for PWDs.

Improving the Competences of Educators

Through the project, the competences of professionals working with PWDs will be strengthened and extended in accordance with the requirements of the 21st century, by acquiring new knowledge and skills from the REFORM Manual. This will support their professional development, including the development of their personal, social and methodological competences. After application of acquired competences, methods and modern educational tools in practice, they can more effectively contribute to social inclusion, active citizenship, increasing employability and supporting the employment of PWDs in the constantly changing world of the 21st century. With the participation of employees-professionals at the REFORM Short staff training event, we will support their lifelong learning. At the same time, the professionals will participate in the preparation of educational materials for blended-learning, thereby acquiring new digital competences which they can also use to improve quality of other daily educational activities.
